Mejibal Sustainability Assessment Tool

A practical diagnostic for Panamanian businesses ready to measure, improve, and communicate their sustainability impact.

About This Assessment

This assessment was developed by Mejibal β€” a Panama City-based Greentech consultancy specializing in sustainability, circular economy, and AI-driven operational efficiency. It is offered free of charge to help Panamanian businesses understand where they stand on their sustainability journey and identify concrete opportunities to reduce costs and environmental impact.

What this assessment evaluates:

How to complete it: This assessment takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Read each question carefully and select the option that most accurately reflects your current operations β€” not where you hope to be. Honest answers produce the most useful results. Some questions ask for approximate figures from your utility bills (IDAAN / ASEO / ENSA); having recent invoices nearby will help, but estimates are acceptable.

What you will receive: Upon completing the assessment, your responses are compiled into a sustainability tier β€” from 🌱 Sprouting to 🍎 Ripening β€” along with a breakdown of your performance by domain and a set of prioritized recommendations tailored to your business. These recommendations are designed to show you not only where to improve, but how doing so can reduce your operating costs.

Note on data use: Your responses contribute to Mejibal's ongoing research into sustainability practices across Panamanian businesses. Aggregated, anonymized data helps build a clearer national picture of where businesses succeed and struggle β€” enabling better policy recommendations and industry benchmarks. Individual company data is kept strictly confidential.
